Our mission is to prepare the leaders of the Kansas Fire Service and to represent our interests at the state and local level to better serve our communities. 

Leader’s Intent Employee/Member Relations

As leaders of the Kansas Fire Service, we will not tolerate anything short of the fair, respectful, and lawful treatment of every employee or member of our organizations.

For decades, firefighters and support staff from various diverse backgrounds have added value to our workforce, contributing to every aspect of the service we deliver.

All members and employees, regardless of their background, protected or unprotected class status, can expect a workplace that is free from unlawful discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
